Anna Scott Obituary
Melbourne
Anna Mary Scott, 97 of Fredericksburg, VA formerly of Melbourne, FL, went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 12, 2017. She was born in Warren, OH on November 28, 1919.
Anna was an educator, she taught and served as the assistant principle at Mae Walters Elementary School in Miami-Dade County. She was also a member of the ADK sorority. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, she will be missed by her family and all who knew her.
Anna is preceded in death by her parents Ernest and Mary Shoff and her husband Earl P Scott. She is survived by her daughter, Marie Dreibelbis; her grandson, Scott (Mehgan) Dreibelbis and her great-grandsons Ethan and Connor Dreibelbis.
There will be a visitation held from 10-11am on Tuesday, June 20 at the Life Event Center at Florida Memorial followed by a celebration of her life at 11am. Entombment will be at Florida Memorial Gardens. Please sign the guestbook at: www.floridamemorialfh-gardens.com

Aunt Anna Mary and Uncle Earl were like a second set of parents to me. They met me in New York when I came to the States to go to college. I was like a fish out of water and I knew that I could always ask them any of my many questions. They took me in like part of the family and I look back on our times together with great fondness. I was always anxious to see Aunt Anna Mary when I visited Mom in Melbourne -- to go out to eat together and play games together. I would tease her about being my second Mom. I love her dearly and her presence in my life made me feel secure when so far from my parents. I always felt her love and support for me. Thank you Marie for sharing her with me.
