Eleanor G. Green - Melbourne - Eleanor G. Green, 76, second generation Floridian, born in Jacksonville passed away Friday, December 18, 2009 at Wuesthoff Medical Center in Melbourne. Eleanor was a homemaker, retired dental assistant and office manager. She was known best as "Nana" the greatest grandmother and great- grandmother in the world. Eleanor was preceded in death by her husband, Albertus R. Green Jr. She is survived by her daughters, Edyth Williams of Indian Harbour Beach, Marcia Green-Smith of Dunedin, FL, Cheryl Nurre of St Augustine, FL, Valerie Green of Melbourne; brother, Earl C. Green Jr. of Madison, TN; grandchildren, Kimberly, Casee, Christopher, Jennifer and Joshua; and 9 great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL. In lieu of flowers memori al contributions may be made in Eleanor's name to a Childrens Charity of your choice.
