Monna Fae Yount, 83, of Melbourne Village, passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2012. She was born in Petersburg, WV., the daughter of Ervin G. and Mae Hanlin Harman and came to Brevard County in 1982 from Fairfax, VA.
She was a retired school teacher for the Fairfax County VA School System and was a graduate of Davis & Elkins College in Elkins, WV. She also taught school at St. Cloud High for 10 years. Monna Fae was a talented artist in oils, acrylics, watercolors, and stained glass. For many years she and her husband would display her stained glass creations at art shows across Florida. She also loved gardening and feeding the hummingbirds that would visit every year.
She is survived by her daughter, Suzanne (Christopher) Connor of Cape Canaveral, FL and a brother, Ervin (Donna) Harman of Melbourne Village, FL. She was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, William.
