Edward Gail Clark, 73, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 23, 2013. A native of Princeton, WV, Ed moved to Melbourne, FL in 1964 with his wife Mona.
Ed graduated from Princeton High School and joined the US Navy where he served four years aboard the U.S.S. Massey. After returning home from the Navy, he was hired at North American Rockwell, Co. Ed then worked for Southern Bell for over 31 years. Ed loved touring the country in his RV, work, camping and enjoying the company of many friends since retiring in 1996. He also loved fishing and taking on "projects" with his son, Eric.
Ed was an active member of the Suntree United Methodist Church and served as President of the National United Methodist Campers.
Ed was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Beatrice Clark. He is survived by his wife Mona; son Eric (Sandra); daughter Kathy (Barry Jennings); grandson Travis Jennings (Stacy); granddaughters Paige and Amanda Clark; granddaughter Allison (Warren Hershberger); and great-granddaughter, Hope Clark; sister, Barbara (Bert Bush) and their family.
A Memorial Service will be Friday, May 31, 2013 at 11:00 am, immediately followed by a reception at Suntree United Methodist Church.
