Margarita Abram of Rockledge, Florida, died on June 26, 2013 in Rockledge, Florida. Margarita Roger de Fernandez was born in New York City, New York, on December 11, 1925. Her family went back to Puerto Rico when she was a baby.
She studied Secretarial Studies in two languages: English and Spanish; she was fluent in both. She was working at Rodriquez General Hospital in San Juan when she met Max L. Abram. The two met and fell in love. They were married for sixty-four years. They had four children, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, with another one on the way. Her love of family and her faith were her number one concern in life. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and St. Mary's Rosary group. She lived life with love, faith, courage and adventure. She was an Air-Force wife and traveled the world with her husband and children.
She is survived by her spouse, Lt. Col Max Abram; sons, Randall (wife Veronica), Roger and Ronald; and daughter, Deborah; her grandchildren, Orson, Sarah, Erin and Caitlin (spouse Andrew); great-grandchildren, Aiden, Conner and Brynn; her sister, Haydee Roger; and her brother, William Roger.
Viewing will be July 1st from 10am until 11am at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Rockledge, with a funeral mass following at 11am at St. Mary's. Interment will be at the Life Event Center at Florida Memorial Gardens; 5950 South U.S. Highway 1.
