Mary M. Karcz

Melbourne, FL

Mary Magdaline Karcz went to be with our Lord on October 6, 2013 with family at her side. She was born on July 29, 1916 in Mammoth, PA to the late Anna & Andrew Payonk.

She married her partner of 62 years, Stanley Joseph Karcz Sr., living in Elmwood Park, NJ until he passed away in 2004. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother to her 3 children

Following her husband's death in 2004, she moved permanently to Melbourne Beach to live with her daughter. She loved Florida, being with her family, and especially loved their pet beagle Marcy.

She is survived by her children, son Stanley Karcz Jr. (Barbara) of Kissimmee, FL; daughters Bonita (Bonnie) Payne (Larry) of Melbourne Beach, FL, and Maryann Fenn (Russ) of Elmwood Park, NJ.; sister Genevieve Krull; brothers Paul Payonk & Stanley Payonk; 4 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews as well as many wonderful relatives, friends and neighbors.

Over the years she touched the lives of many people. She will be dearly missed by many as all will feel the emptiness of her passing. She was a very devoted Catholic and was especially thankful to the Lord for her long life and the happiness with which she was blessed.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Thursday, October 10 at Beach Funeral Home, Indian Harbour Beach, from 6-8 pm. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, October 11 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Melbourne Beach at 10:00 am.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Immaculate Conception Church in Melbourne Beach, FL.

Anyone wishing to share a memory, send the family a message or place a memorial donation is asked to please visit Mary's memorial page at www.beachfuneralhome.com.
