James M. Falscroft

Cocoa, FL

James M. Falscroft passed away December 18, 2013 at home. He was born August 4, 1931 in Burlington, IA. He attended schools in Kansas City, KS. His survivors include his loving wife of 54 years Ann, daughter Marie Romprey, sons Monty (Beverly), Chuck, and Michael Falscroft. Jim had five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Jim served in the Air Force as an aircraft mechanic and retired from the Naval Reserve where he was a flight engineer on P3's.

Jim went to work for Douglas Aircraft in 1957 at Cape Canaveral and retired 37 years later from McDonnell Douglas. He had a wonderful career at the Cape.

Jim was active in the community as a coach and umpire for little league and midget football. He was a wonderful husband, and a role model for his children and all the kids he coached. The family is having a "Celebration of His Life" at Burton Smith Park on Highway 520 from 1 o'clock to 4 o'clock Sunday, January 5th. A reception will follow for all who knew him.
