Richard "Pap" Chabot

Richard "Pap" Chabot, 80, passed away on May 23, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Eckhart Mines, MD on April 15, 1934. Richard and his family moved to Indian Harbour Beach in 1972. He was the former owner of Virginia Fried Chicken in Satellite Beach, and a Technician for Al Booth Appliances. He was a long time member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, where he was also a Eucharistic Minister and a Minister to the sick for many years.
Richard was predeceased by his wife, Carol, in 2010.
He is survived by his children, Rick (Cathy) Chabot of Winter Springs, FL, Ginger (Nathan) Iacobacci of Indialantic, FL; siblings, Tom, Bernie, Leonard, and Patricia Tase; grandchildren, Ryan, Torri, and Eric; and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Indialantic.
