Frances Haase Obituary

Frances J. Haase

Indian Harbour Beach

Frances J. Haase, 93, of Indian Harbour Beach, entered the Kingdom of Heaven on Feb. 27, 2017.  After being raised in North Carolina, she attended Vanderbilt University, and worked as a public health nurse before she and husband Bill moved to Satellite Beach, Florida in 1957.  She was preceded in death by her husband Bill, in 1970.  Frances is survived by daughters, Carol Haase-Greeley; Nancy Hibbert (Jack); Sandra Brown (Carl) and son, Bill Haase III, along with 5 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.  Frances led a full and giving life; truly and positively impacting the lives of all she knew.   A private graveside service will be followed by a Celebration of Life Service to be held 3pm March 25 at Satellite Beach United Methodist Church.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Frances' memory can be made to Florida United Methodist Children's Home, Stephen's Ministry at Satellite Beach UMC, or Daily Bread Melbourne, Inc.

Fran was an incredibly kind and gracious lady who loved to serve others. She was also a very wise woman with a great sense of humor!

I first met Fran back in the late 1970's when I worked alongside her in one of my first nursing jobs as a public health nurse. She was like a mom to everyone who worked there, and the perfect role model of a follower of Christ as well as a nurse.

My thoughts and prayers are with her daughter Sandy Brown, son-in-law Carl Brown, and all the rest of her loving family. May God's glorious peace envelope you and comfort you with the certainty that Fran is with our Lord and Savior.
