Elma Kendrick, 83, of Blue River, widow of Tommy Kendrick, died April 10, 2014, at Highlands Regional Medical Center, in Prestonsburg.
Born April 15, 1930, in Floyd County, to the late Alex and Laudie Mae Howar Owsley, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two daughters, Barbara (Danny) Baldridge, of Blue River, and Ruby (Roy) Spradlin, of Hager Hill; a step-brother, Hobert Branham, of Ohio; four grandchildren, Sherry Lynn Kendrick, Eddie Allen Spradlin, Jeffrey (Amanda) Baldridge and Matthew (Tabitha) Baldridge; and five great grandchildren, Krista, Brooke, Thomas, Katelynn and Rylan.
She was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Gene Kendrick, and three brothers, Elman Ousley, Alton Ousley and Elton Ousley.
Funeral services for Elma Kendrick were held Monday, April 14, at Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, in Martin, with Phillip Ramey and Jeffrey Baldridge officiating. Burial followed in the Baldridge Cemetery, at Blue River.
