James Ellis Blevins, 60, of Tram, husband of Mary Sue Bentley Blevins, died Tuesday, March 11, 2014, at Highlands Regional Medical Center, in Prestonsburg.
Born Oct. 16, 1953, in Floyd County, to Betty Rose Blevins, of Tram, and the late Myrl David "MD" Blevins, he was a disabled truck driver for Kentucky Oil Company.
He is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Hall and Noel Blevins, both of Tram; two brothers, Myrl Baker and Jess Blevins, both of Tram; and two sisters, Deloris Johnson, of Tram, and Minervia Parsons, of Millard.
He was preceded in death by a son, James Michael Blevins; a brother, Danny Blevins; and a sister, Alice Blevins.
Funeral services for James Ellis Blevins will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, March 14, at Riverside Baptist Church, at Tram. Burial will follow in the Goble Family Cemetery, in Allen.
Visitation will be held after 5 p.m., Wednesday, and all day, Thursday, at the church.
