Corporal Desmond Tyrell Watts, 22, of Williamsburg, Va., formerly of Wheelwright, husband of Madeline Tomtisten Watts, died Feb. 24, 2014, in Williamsburg.
Born Oct. 28, 1991, in Martin, to Devondrea Watts and Rodney Williams, he was an active Marine and loving father, husband, son and grandson.
He is surved by a daughter, Aurianna Mae Watts, of Michigan; two brothers, Quvaughn Watts and Travon Hearst, both of Dayton, Ohio; a sister, Trevianne Hearst, of Dayton; and great grandmother, Annie Laura Watts.
Funeral services for Corporal Desmond Tyrell Watts will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, March 8, at Light House Temple, in Wheelwright, with Pastor Kendall Logan officiating. Burial will follow in Davidson Memorial Gardens, at Ivel.
Visitation will be held after 6 p.m., Friday, with a remembrance service starting at 6 p.m., and after noon on Saturday.
