Norman Crager

Norman Crager, 77, of Hueysville, husband of Brenda Patton Crager, died Friday, Nov. 1, 2013, at the Greg and Norene Wells Hospice Care Center, in Hazard.

Born Jan. 16, 1936, in Floyd County, to the late Jimmy and Effie Crager, he was a coal miner.

He is survived by a son, Larry Crager, of Hueysville; a brother, Cletis Crager, of Hueysville; two sisters, Ruth Wallace and Marie Hicks, both of Hueysville; and two grandchildren, Carrie and Chisom.

He was preceded in death by a son, Kendrick Crager, and three brothers, Vernon Crager, Estill Crager and Hermon Crager.

Funeral services for Norman Crager were held at 1 p.m., Monday, Nov. 4, at Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, in Martin. Burial followed in Gethsemane Gardens, in Prestonsburg.

Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, of Martin, was in charge of arrangements.
