GENEVA - Alfred William Bartlett Sr., 81, of Camillus, passed away Saturday (January 19, 2013) at University Hospital in Syracuse.
Relatives and friends may call Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph's Church, Camillus. Al will be laid to rest in Glenwood Cemetery, Geneva.

Born and raised in Geneva, he lived in Camillus since 1958. He was a 1949 graduate of Geneva High School and 1953 graduate of St. Lawrence University. Al served in the Army from 1953-1955. He retired in 1994 from the Onondaga County Dept. of Weights and Measures. An avid SU fan, he also enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Surviving are his wife of 59 years, the former Barbara Carroll; sons, Alfred Jr. (Cynthia) of Solvay, David (Paula) of Syracuse, Stephen (Kathleen) of Fairmount, Peter (Patti) of Concord, N.C. and Paul of Camillus; daughters, Patricia (James) Schaefer of New Hartford, Mary Kay (Jeff) Cannizzo of Amherst, and Anne Shanahan of Delray Beach, Fla.; sisters, Marcia (Michael) Peters of Geneva and Sue Oram of Toms River, N.J.; 23 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and one on the way and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Al was predeceased by his parents, Harold and Isabel Bartlett; and sister, Patricia Brock.
