Marian Sutton

Clifton Springs - Marian Sutton, age 89, formerly of the Spa Apartments, passed away peacefully on Monday (Jan. 20, 2014) at the Clifton Springs Hospital Nursing Home. Friends may call Thursday (Jan. 23) from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Patrick Funeral Home, 26 West Main Street, Clifton Springs. A Funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. Friday (Jan. 24) at St. Felix Church, Clifton Springs. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Resthaven Cemetery, Phelps. Friends may contribute to the Clifton Springs Hospital Nursing Activity Fund or St. Peter's Catholic Parish, Hibbard Ave., Clifton Springs in Marian's memory.
Marian was born July 1, 1924 in Brooklyn, N.Y., the daughter of the late Oscar and Henrietta Walgenbach. She served in the United States Air Force from 1943-1944. Marian was a member of St. Felix Church and the Veterans Prisoners of War. She loved all animals. Marian enjoyed singing, dancing, spending time with her friends at the Spa Apartments and playing bingo. But most important to Marian was her family whom she adored. Marian will be deeply missed by all of her loving family and friends.
Marian is survived by her daughter, Judith Patrick of Phelps; step-son, Scott Sutton of New Rochelle, N.Y.; step-daughter, Ellen Mundy of Broad Channel, N.Y.; grandchildren, Robert A. (Julie Stuart) Patrick Jr., Christine A. Mancusi, Michael T. (Nadine) Patrick and Steven T. Patrick; great-grandchildren, Jessica (Anthony Geraci) Mancusi, Katelyn M. Patrick and Michael R. Patrick; great-great-grandson, Nicolas Mancusi; very dear friend, Ann Zander.
Marian is predeceased by her husbands, Bernie Sutton, Sidney Herman and Marvin Thomas; son, James Thomas; and son-in-law, Robert A. Patrick Sr.
