Charlie was born in Ithaca on May 13, 1970, the only son of Charles and Martha (Gregg) Cherwak. He attended South Seneca Central School, and worked side by side with his father on the family farm in Lodi. He was an excellent mechanic and had his father's "know how" when it came to working with machinery. He often traveled to New York City with produce and grape juice for the green markets. Despite his often poor health and very limited vision, he strove to keep the farm going.
He is survived by his loving wife, Rebecca "Becky"; and his expectant twins, Casey C. and Molly I. Cherwak; and his mother, Martha, all of Lodi; his sisters-in-law, Patricia (Paul) DeGaray and Slycce McShea; a brother-in-law, James P. McShea; his father-in-law, James P. (Patricia) McShea; his aunts, Sally Hubbard and Mary Gregg.
Charlie was preceded his father, Charles "Charlie" Cherwak in 2011.
