LYONS- Dorothy M. Comella, 84, a resident of Crest Manor Living Center, passed away on Friday (February 18, 2011).

Family and friends may call from 3 to 6 p.m. today (Feb. 20) at Weeks-Keysor Funeral Home, 5 Phelps St., Lyons. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Monday (Feb. 21) at St. Michael's Church, Phelps St., Lyons. Burial will be in South Lyons Cemetery.

Dorothy was born on May 6, 1926 in Lyons, a daughter to James and Mary Velanzano Reda. She retired from the Wayne County Motor Vehicle Office. Dorothy's passion was her family.
She is survived by two daughters: Mary (Craig) Farnsworth of Georgia and Jody (Scott) Ellis of Macedon; two granddaughters: Danielle (Frank) Teeple of Huron and Courtney (Christopher) Post of Clarence Center; four great-grandchildren: Lillian and Mirabelle Post and Jackson and Philip Teeple; two sisters: Agnes Cassavino of Lyons and Angeline Colatarci of Lyons; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Philip J. Comella in 2008; and brother, Louis Reda.
