SAVANNAH - Martha Robinson, 97, passed away on Monday (June 7, 2010) at the Wayne County Nursing Home in Lyons.
Visitation will not be observed. A graveside service will be held in Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Fla. at the convenience of Martha's family.
Memorials may be directed to the Wayne County Nursing Home, Activity Fund in her memory.
A lifelong Savannah resident, Martha was the daughter of the late Ned and Clara Olmstead. She had retired in 1976 from the Savannah High School, where she was secretary to the school principal.
Martha is survived by sons, Bernard (Janet) DeCook of Fort Lauderdale, Fla. and John "Jack" Robinson of Savannah; grandchildren, Mindy of Clyde, Jeff of Hollywood, Fla. and Renee (James) Harrington of Springfield, Tenn.; and great-grandchildren, Caitlin, Amanda, Laura, Caiden and Quinn.
Martha was predeceased by husbands, Bernard J. DeCook and Albert "Joe" Robinson.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Colvin-Norton Funeral Home of Savannah.
