Palmyra - Richard Thomas "Richie" Quigley Sr., 65, entered eternity suddenly on Wednesday (August 22, 2012) at Clifton Springs Hospital, ER.

Family and friends may call Sunday (Aug. 26) from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Norman L. Waterman Funeral Home, Inc., 124 W. Miller St., Newark followed by a Funeral Service at 4 p.m. A Graveside Service will be in Palmyra Cemetery on Monday (Aug. 27) at 11 a.m.

Richie was born the son of the late Donald and Ella Mae (VanHorn) Quigley on Saturday, August 9, 1947 in Rochester, N.Y. He enjoyed motorcycles, attending car shows and was a collector of die cast model cars. As a Loader Operator he worked for Morrison Inc. for several years.
Richie will be remembered by his loving wife of 44 years and caregiver Barbara (Gilbert) Quigley; sons Richard Jr. (Jamie) and Jeffery (Kari) Quigley; daughters Cathy (David) LaMay, Karry Quigley (Steven) Lush and Kelly (Michael) Bauer; 17 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; brothers Lenard (Rose) and David (Shirley) Quigley; sisters Judy (Bill) Lincoln, Diane Winston and Vickie (Lloyd) Jock; many nieces and nephews.
Richie was predeceased by two brothers, Donald and Larry Quigley.
