PALMYRA - RoseAnna Hall Hackett, aged to perfection at 97 years. There is a new shining star in the night sky as God's finger touched her and she slept on Tuesday (May 25, 2010).

The family will receive guests at 10 a.m. on Saturday (May 29) at the Robert L. Yost Funeral Home, Inc., 123 W. Main St. Palmyra, with a Celebration of Her Life Service at 11 a.m. Dress casually, please. Burial will be in Palmyra Cemetery. Feel free to share stories during the service.

Rose is survived by her children, Marion Holland of East Palmyra, Bill Hackett of Palmyra and Nancy (Paul) Cushman of Palmyra; five grandchildren, John Cushman of Colorado, Deanna Cushman of Farmington, Erin (Wes) Smith of East Palmyra, Lewie Hackett of Macedon and Bobbe Hackett of Palmyra; seven great-grandchildren; and many extended family.
She was predeceased by her husband, Lewie Hackett, in 1970.
