Clifton Springs - William L. Bounds, age 60, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday (December 21, 2013) at Strong Memorial Hospital. Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday (December 27) at the Patrick Funeral Home, 26 West Main Street, Clifton Springs. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday (December 28) at the Clifton Springs United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Pioneer Cemetery. Friends may contribute to Camp Onseyawa in Bill's memory.

Bill was born July 8, 1953 in Clifton Springs, the son of the late William and Martha Bounds and had lived in the area all of his life. He owned and operated Bounds Painting and the Dippers II for many years. Bill also was a school bus driver for the Phelps-Clifton Springs School District. He was a member of the Clifton Springs United Methodist Church. He enjoyed classic cars, especially his '57 Chevy. Bill also enjoyed conversation at local diners with friends and family. He was a good hearted man that would help anyone anytime. But most important to Bill was his family. He was a devoted husband, loving father and adoring grandfather. His favorite pastime was spoiling his grandchildren.
Bill is survived by his loving wife, Tina Bounds; son, Tim (Stasi Ikonomou) Bounds; daughter, Stephanie (John) Potter; grandchildren, Jillian Bounds, Alexa Bounds, Rylan Potter and one on the way.
Bill is predeceased by his parents, William and Martha Bounds, sister, Janet Deuel, and mother-in-law, Betty Vanderwall.
