Throop - Martha Arlene. (Derby) Pilat Clark, 95, of Throop, passed away Tuesday (February 18, 2014) at the Auburn Nursing Home.

Services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. at the White Chapel Funeral Home, 2719 Erie Dr., Weedsport. Friends may visit with her family Sunday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will take place in the spring at Sand Beach Cemetery in Fleming.
Mrs. Clark was born on December 17, 1918, in Port Byron, N.Y., the daughter of the late Ervin J. and Ella Brown Derby. Martha was formerly employed at Columbian Rope in Auburn and was a former member of the Port Byron United Methodist Church. Martha enjoyed sewing, spending time with her family and the tranquility of sitting by the lake.
Martha is survived by her loving family, her sons, Donald Clark of Cato, Robert (Iris) Clark of Geneva, Jerry Clark of Oklahoma, Charles (Jean) Pilat of Elbridge, Paul (Doneen) Pilat of Port Byron and Thomas (Millie) Pilat of Conquest; her sister Mildred Kreutter of S.C.; her brother Robert Derby of Auburn; her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Martha was predeceased by her, husband Wesley F. Clark, in 2003 and her first husband, Walter Pilat
