PENN YAN - Donald B. Kimball, Jr. April 27, 2014, at age 90 after a long battle with Alzheimer's. Don passed away peacefully at his home in Penn Yan surrounded by his loving family.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, 11:00 a.m. at Anthony Funeral Chapel, 2305 Monroe Ave., Rochester. The family will greet friends starting at 10:00 a.m., and a reception will follow the service at The Highlands at Pittsford, 300 Hahnemann Trail, Pittsford. Interment will be private at White Haven Memorial Park.

Don served in the Army during WWII, and was a graduate of Renssalear Polytechnic Institute and St. Lawrence University. He retired from Eastman Kodak in 1982 after a 40 year career. Don was a dedicated volunteer with the Red Cross, Boy Scouts of America, the United Way, Genesee Hospital and Soldier and Sailors Hospital in Penn Yan, and other organizations. In retirement Don and Dottie enjoyed their home on Seneca Lake.
He is survived by his daughters, Susan Loughnane and Ann Kimball; brother, Morton "Kim" Kimball; grandchildren, Christopher (Danielle) Loughnane, Lee (Bridgette) Loughnane, Carrie (Mark) Smith, Audrey (Jason) Jackman, Greg Fowler; 11 great-grandchildren.
He is predeceased by his beloved wife of 62 years, Dorothy "Dottie."
