GENEVA/MALVERN - Dr. Richard Karl "Rich" Stamer, 47, died suddenly on Saturday (March 13, 2010).
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Thursday (March 18) from 9:30-11:15 a.m., followed by his funeral Mass 11:30 a.m. at SS Peter & Paul Church, 1325 Boot Road, West Chester, PA, 19380. Int. Private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory to the Stamer Children's Education Fund, P.O. Box 614, Broomall, PA 19008 would be appreciated.
Rich was employed by AstraZeneca for five years. He was a graduate of Geneva High School and a 1986 graduate of the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science. He received a M.S. from Temple University in 2000 and his Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Kansas in 2006. Rich was enrolled in the MBA program at Wilmington University, scheduled to graduate in December, 2010.
He enjoyed wood turning, home renovating and attending his children's athletic events; Rich also enjoyed corresponding through e-mail to help people solve their home improvement problems on the DIY site ("Do It Yourself").
He will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him.
Rich is survived by his beloved wife of nine years, M. Donna (nee Clarkson); his loving children, Kelly, Keith and Kyle; his devoted parents, Amelia (nee Andose) and Dr. John Stamer; his brother, Mark Stamer of Rochester; and his sister, Anne Stamer of Springfield, Penn.
Arrangements have been entrusted to D'Anjolell Memorial Homes, 2811 West Chester Pike, Broomall, PA 19008.
