Frank Wick Obituary
A time of visitation and remembrance will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Saturday (March 19) at Covert Funeral Home, 7199 S. Main St., Ovid.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that donations in Frank's memory be directed to the ALS Foundation, 890 7th North St. #108, Liverpool, 13088, the Muscular Dystrophy Association, 1425 Jefferson Rd., Suite 19, Rochester, 14623, or South Seneca Ambulance, PO Box 280, Ovid , 14521.
Frank was born on September 19, 1942 in Springfield, Penn., a son of the late Paul and Anna (Taugner) Wick. While living in Pennsylvania, Frank was a proprietor of Wick's Ski Shop in Exton, Penn., which is still operated by the Wick family. Frank's passion in life was working the land. He was a farmer in Chester County, Penn. for many years before moving to Lodi in 2002, where he continued crop farming and operating Wick's Hay and Straw.
Frank's warm heart and caring soul will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Frank is survived by his wife, Blanche Wick; four children: Eric (Rachel) Wick of Exton, Penn., Lisa Wick of Lancaster, Penn., Oliver Wick of Lodi, and Lilly Wick of Lodi; a grandson, Ronan Wick; a brother, Paul (Mary) Wick of Wilmington, Del.; and a sister, Nancy (Mark) Beard of Glen Mills, Penn.

Dear Blanche, I was at the old Farm Sanctuary yesterday and learned of Frank's passing from Warren. I am so very sorry to hear about this. Please get in touch with me if you can. I have thought about you so much over the past years. I miss seeing and talking to you. So happy I got to meet Frank way back. My deepest sympathies to you and your children.

Frank fought a hard fight, and was one of the strongest men I knew. As strong as Frank was, he was just as loving and kind and an absolutely wonderful person. Thank you, Frank, for giving my best friend, Blanche, and the kids, a wonderful life and a dream come true. We will miss you and remember you forever!
