Richard Linzy Obituary

GENEVA - Richard Herman Linzy, 74, of Los Angeles, Calif., formerly of Geneva passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2013, in the Veterans Administra tion Hospital in Los Angeles, Calif.
Friends may call from 2 to 3 p.m. at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, 70 Clark St. on Saturday (August 24). Funeral Services will follow at 3 p.m. in the Church. Burial will be in Sand Hill Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
Richard was born in Geneva and resided in California for several years. He was the son of the late Minor and Victoria Elvara Northrup Linzy Dunham.
He is survived by his children, LaSandra Linzy, Richard Linzy, Kevin Linzy, Deirdre (Joe) Ware, Lori Williams, Melissa Archie and Stephanie (David) Garrison; his sisters, Laura Linzy, Carol (Leonard) Adams-Sally and Cheryl Nelson and his brother, Joseph Linzy; 11 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents, and his sisters, Alice Jackson, Agnes Russ, Kathleen Rivers, Sharon Linzy, and brother Robert Linzy.
