Gerald "Jerry" Olp Obituary
WATERLOO– Gerald "Jerry" William Olp, 77, of Waterloo, died Wednesday (January 25, 2017) at Geneva General Hospital.
Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life at 12 p.m. on Saturday
(April 22, 2017) at North Seneca Sportsman Club, State Rte. 318, Phelps, NY. Please bring photos and stories of Jerry to share.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to theorganization of one's choice.
Jerry was born May 10, 1939, in Waterloo, the son of William R. and Lucile E. Gassner Olp. He was a graduate of Waterloo High School. Jerry served in the U.S. Navy from 1957 to 1963. He was employed for many years at Wayne ARC inNewark. He was a member of the North Seneca Sportsman Club.
Jerry is survived by his sister, Elaine (Roger) Trerice ofDaytona Beach, Fla.;
nephews David Trerice and Will Olp; nieces Debi Siuta andHeather Olp-Griffiths and their families, including ten great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was predeceased by his brother, Richard Olp.

Elaine and family, So sorry to hear of Jerry's passing. We have been friends for many years,(we are in Florida for winter)and loved talking with him and hearing about his fishing stories. He is at peace now and no longer suffering. Will always remember how kind and personable he was.
