Carmen Fuentes was born on April 7, 1923 in Hawaii and passed away peacefully on August 24, 2018 in Auburn. Carmen was one of five children. She was born in Hawaii and grew up in San Francisco. She lived through the Depression Era when times were hard. She worked forty-five years at Schlage Lock Company. She married Joseph L. Fuentes in 1942. They were married seventy-two years and had two sons. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be missed.
Private services are being held at the request of the family.

My lovely Aunt Carmen. My husband and I loved you and Uncle Joe very much. We had the privilege to also be neighbors. My father Pete Cozzolino passed on 3/19/18. So you all will be together now. My Moms health is failing now. She wants to be with my Dad. Love Mona Cozzolino & Doug Cook

I knew Carmen years ago when I worked in Auburn. She was a personable & fun lady. I never forgot her after all these years, she made such an impression on me. Bravo to a life well lived. To her family, you were lucky to have such a gem in your lives, my condolences. Rest In peace, Mrs Fuentes! xo

Hello, I just wanted to leave my condolence with the family. I'm truly sorry for your loss. Carmen sounds like she was a wonderful person and wife. What a great example her and her husband were for staying married so long. May you seek peace and comfort though family and friends remembering all the great times you shared. Also, to believe in the promise of no more sadness.

Great Grandma will forever be loved and missed. Holidays without her will never be the same. I'm so glad my children got the opportunity to know and love her.
