Lins, Henry "Hank" August - Cumming  
Henry "Hank" August Lins, age 74, of Cumming passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2016. He is preceded in death by his mother, Betty Smith; father, Henry; stepmother, Martha Lins; and brother, Jimmy Smith. Hank was a stockbroker for 47 years and worked up until the day of his death, just as he promised. He loved his job and let everyone know it. In addition to getting inducted to the Verona High School Sports Hall of Fame for soccer he also earned a soccer scholarship to the University of Maryland. Hank was a member of the Chamber of Commerce, the South Forsyth Rotary Club, a 29-year member of the Polo Golf and Country Club, and he loved golf, boating, the ocean, his grandkids and any event not scheduled in the early morning. Hank is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Molly Lins; daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Tommy Miller; daughter, Tricia Fenske all of Cumming; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill and Bonnie Lins of Marietta, Bob and Suzy Lins of Cumming, David and Vicki Smith of Groton, Conn.; grandchildren, Merritt and Henry Miller, Savannah and Braxton Fenske, Christopher, Matthew, Jenny and Brittany Lins; and lastly his Havanese dog, "Ryan" who has remained by his side for the last 18 months. Services will be held at St. Brendan's Catholic Church in Cumming Monday, May 2, at 11 a.m. Visitation will be held Sunday, May 1, from 1-5 p.m., at McDonald and Son Funeral Home. In addition to flowers, the family will accept contributions made to the St. Brendan's Catholic Church Building Fund. McDonald and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
