Carl "Bud" Lauritz Andreasen

Carl "Bud" Lauritz Andreasen, 79, of Pennington, N.J., passed away Saturday, Sept. 4, 2010, at Northside Hospital Forsyth in Cumming. He was born in Plainfield, N.J. Mr. Andreasen was a graduate of Rutgers University where he achieved his masters degree. He was the principal of Hopewell Elementary in Hopewell, N.J., past president of the Lions Club and past master of Hopewell, N.J., Masonic Lodge. Active in many area dog clubs, he introduced the first Manchester Terrier into the Andreasen family's Busy Bee Kennel. He was also the Green Bay Packers number one fan.
He is survived by his loving wife, Phyllis Andreasen of Pennington, N.J.; children, Bonnie (James) Gold of Trego, Mont., Paul (Theresa) Andreasen of Cumming, Carl (Diane) Andreasen of Murrayville; sister, Beatrice Inkpen of Pennsylvania; brother, Adolph Andreasen of Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Eric Gondeck, Nikki Parker, Adam Andreasen, Andrew Walker Andreasen, Laura Andreasen; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 8, at 3 p.m. at McDonald and Son Chapel in Cumming with the Rev. Henry Loggins and the Rev. Carl Andreasen II officiating. Interment will follow the service. The family will receive friends Wednesday, Sept. 8, from 1-3 p.m. at the funeral home.
