John William Bollati, 85, of Suwanee passed away Nov. 30, 2010. Mr. Bollati was a member of St. Benedicts Church in Duluth. He graduated from Bronx Vocational High School, served in the United States Navy, and was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Bollati; son, Bill Bollati of Greenwood Lake, N.Y.; daughters, Joann Bollati Weiland of Suwanee, Carol Bollati of Cumming; grandchildren, John William Bollati II, Tara Bollati, Ryan Weiland, Kyle Weiland, Billy Bollati; great-grandchild, Dominick Bollati; sisters, Dorothy Bollati of Bronx, N.Y., Elaine Bollati Phillips of Braintree, Mass.
A funeral service will be held at SouthCare Cremation Society and Memorial Centers in Alpharetta on Friday, Dec. 3, at 8 p.m. Interment will take place Tuesday, Dec. 7, at 2 p.m. in Georgia National Cemetery in Canton.
In lieu of flowers, the family will be presenting a donation to Embracing Hospice Hospital. Donations in John's name may be sent to the family's home address.
SouthCare Cremation Society and Memorial Centers in Alpharetta is in charge of arrangements.
