Austin Ray Sullivan, 17, passed away Saturday, Dec. 3, 2011, near his home in Ramer, Ala. Austin, born Nov. 26, 1994, leaves to cherish his memory his father and mother, Chad and Jennifer Sullivan of Ramer, Ala.; grandfather, Jim Sullivan of Sellers, Ala.; grandparents, Vince and Terri Cedrone of Montgomery, Ala., Jon and Sherrie Hiltbrand of Tunnell Hill; great-grandparents, Leonard and Dorothy Harvey of Medford, Ore.; uncle and aunt, Ray and Holli Hiltbrand; cousins, Andrew and Jacob Hiltbrand of Cumming; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by one of the loves of his life, his grandmother, "GG" Virginia Sullivan.
Austin, a student of South Montgomery County Academy (SMCA), Grady, Ala., was loved and respected by teachers, coaches and students. When he returned to SMCA in August 2011, it took only a few days for all students to know who he was and to love him. He was asked just a few hours before his death if he likes going to school at SMCA and he replied, "I love it. I like being where you know everyone and where everyone loves one another."
Most of all Austin loved his Lord Jesus and being with his best friend, Taylor. He loved him like a brother. He loved being with family and friends. He loved fishing, hunting and playing his PS3 with Taylor and his dad.
He was number 20 on the 2011 Raiders' football team and was looking forward to playing baseball at SMCA.
