Barbara Lynn Hunt, age 68, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2015 due to complications from small cell Lung Cancer at Embracing Hospice in Cumming.
Mrs. Hunt was a native of Hagerstown, Md. While living in Hagerstown, Md., Mrs. Hunt graduated from North Hagerstown High School and Hagerstown Community College. She co-operated the Sugar n' Spice Fashion Shop with her mother for many years and was selected as Business Women of the Year by the Hagerstown Women's Business Club.
In Cumming she was a member of various Women's groups. She was also a member of the City on the Hill Church, led by Pastors David and Robin Harris.
Mrs. Hunt enjoyed traveling, decorating, and fashion consulting. She also began a writing career authoring a well-received book entitled Eternal Destinies as Revealed in the Stars, with artist's drawings by her sister, Sue Myers. The book is available on Amazon.
Her parents, Robert and Lois Logan preceded her.
She leaves her husband of 46 years, Wayne Hunt; her son, David Hunt; her Sister, Sue Myers; grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and many friends.
A Memorial Service was held for Mrs. Hunt at the City on the Hill Church in Cumming.
