Betty Jean Craft Howell was born June 29, 1933, in Lyons to George Foster and Bertha Elizabeth Craft. She passed away Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012.
Betty is survived by her husband of 57 years, William F. Howell; sons, Jeffrey Miller Howell of New York City, William Craig Howell of Omaha, Neb.; two grandchildren, Austen Howell and Taylor Howell of New York City; brother, George F. Craft Jr. of Lyons; sisters, Alice Gross of Lyons, Faye Monahan of Snellville, Glenda Osborn of Lyons, Francis Carlisle of Smyrna; nephews, nieces and other loving relatives and friends also survive.
Viewing will be at Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming Tuesday, Nov. 20, from 5-7 p.m. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 21, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Mike Schmid officiating.
Betty was a member of the First Redeemer Church of Cumming Georgia and the family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to The Gideon's. Donations may be made online at www.gideons.org/HowYouCanHelp/Give.aspx.
