Betty Mentoria Eubanks Tate, age 72, of Cumming passed away Friday, July 8, 2016. A native of Forsyth County, Betty was a member of Roanoke Baptist Church where she taught many children about her Lord and Savior. She was a Prayer Warrior for everyone she met. Above all things, Betty loved her Jesus and her family and enjoyed cooking and gardening.
Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Jerry L. Tate of Cumming; children, Becky Moore and her finance' Jamie Lingerfelt of Cleveland, Gina (Clint) Thompson, Betsy (Bradley) Caine all of Cumming; grandchildren, Cam Moore, Brooke Thompson, Aaron Caine, Cassie Caine, Kylie Thompson; great-grandson, Slayton Moore; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and close friends.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 10, at 3 p.m. in the Roanoke Baptist Church with the Revs. Joe Hulsey, Clark Watson, Carlton Coker, and Ruel Martin officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 1-3 p.m. and Sunday from noon until the time of service.
