Brenda Jean Terrell, 52, passed quietly at her home in Cumming Thursday, Nov. 5, 2015, with her family by her side after a long battle with breast cancer that metastasized to the brain. We are grateful for all the medical professionals who provided such good care and support during her illness.
Brenda spent the majority of her life in the Atlanta or Cumming area and was an active member of Browns Bridge Community Church. She loved her family and her Lord, her church and reading and studying the Bible. She also loved cooking, shopping, riding her bike on the greenway, watching old TV mysteries, helping others, but mostly going to the beach, dinner dates and anything she could do with her family.
Prior to having her children, Brenda worked as a teller and then trainer in the banking industry.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, James and Virginia Perry and is survived by her husband of nearly 30 years, Vernon Terrell and her three children, Jonathan, Kathryn, and Lydia.
A visitation will be held Sunday, Nov. 8, at 1 P.M. with a memorial service to follow at 2:30 P.M. in the Chapel of Macedonia Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, interment immediately following in the cemetery.
Macedonia Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery is handling all arrangements and is located at 10655 E Cherokee Dr. Canton Georgia 30115 Phone 770 479 2788.
