Carson Ray Frier, age 16, of Cumming passed away Thursday, Aug. 15, 2013. Carson was attending his junior year at Forsyth County Central High School. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed baseball, basketball, football and all Georgia Tech sports. He also loved any outdoor activities and especially loved the beach. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Billy Ray Miller.
He is survived by his parents, Tim and Kelly Frier of Cumming; brothers and sister, Casey Frier, Kelsey Frier, Kevin Frier; grandparents, Lynn Miller of Douglasville, Steve and Peggy Frier of Marietta; aunts and uncles, Mick and Alicia Miller of Douglasville, Mark and Linda Miller of Villa Rica, Kim and Charles Harris of Douglasville, Debbie and David Kaiser of Woodstock; several cousins and other loving relatives and friends also survive.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Aug. 20, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home, with the Rev. Travis Bridgeman officiating. Entombment will follow at Sawnee View Mausoleum. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, Aug. 19, from 4-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
