Charles Levent Tuncel, age 23, left all of those who loved him on Feb. 28, 2012. He was the son of Levent Tuncel of Marietta and Theresa Turner Topmiller of Marietta. He was the grandson of the late Nimet and Lutfu Tuncel of Istanbul, Turkey. Charlie was a student at Chattahoochee Tech and was planning a career in emergency medical technology. He occasionally worked part time in his father's business.
He is survived by his loving brother, Theodore (Teddy) Tuncel of Marietta; grandparents, George S. and Wilma Turner of Cumming (George is a civics teacher at North Forsyth High School); numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins from around the world also survive.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 3, at 2 p.m. at Turner United Methodist Church in McDonough. It will be followed by burial of Charlie's ashes in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Turner United Methodist Church.
