Charles "Chick" Sansenbach, 74 of Cumming, passed away Sunday, Jan. 11, 2009, at Northside Hospital Forsyth. Mr. Sansenback was a former resident of South Plainfield, N.J. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. He worked for Federal Pacific Electric for many years in Newark, N.J., and retired in 1998 from Lincoln Electric in Union, N.J.
He is survived by his wife, Ann Sansenbach of Cumming; daughter, Mary E. Abate of Cumming; son, Chuck and Michele Sansenbach of Cumming; five grandchildren, Chris, Jimmy, and Danny Abate and Erica and Stephanie Sansenbach.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 16, at Good Shepherd Catholic Church with Father Peter Rau officiating. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 15, at the funeral home.
