Christopher Andre' Indigo Hendel, age 15, of Birmingham and Cumming passed away March 16, 2009.
Chris was the beloved only son of Dean and Laura Hendel.
His grandmother, Linda McMeekin; great-grandmother, Ruth Bess; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins are also left to treasure his precious memory.
Chris was a first degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do. He loved art, music, and laughter. Chris was always the first person to help a friend who was down. He was creative, imaginative, and made everything fun. He was the greatest son a parent could ask for.
Visitation will be held for Chris at Ridout's Elmwood Chapel on March 20 from 5-7 p.m. A graveside service will be held Saturday, March 21, at 10 a.m. at Elmwood Cemetery.
Ridout's Elmwood Chapel in Birmingham, Ala., is in charge of arrangements.
