Claude C. Perry, age 83, of Fayetteville, formerly of Cumming, passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2011. He was a member of Fayetteville First United Methodist Church. Mr. Perry was a United States Air Force veteran and served in the Korean Conflict. He was the marketing manager for the Bendix Corporation (now Honeywell) where he traveled the world. Claude had a big heart for animals, deeply loved his grandson and always had a smile for sweet ladies.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Lurlene Perry of Fayetteville; daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Jim Rudolph of Plantation, Fla.; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Patricia Perry of Fayetteville; brother, B.L. Perry of Cumming; grandson, Todd Perry; several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
Graveside services with military honors will be held Friday, April 1, at 1 p.m. at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Mark Westmoreland officiating. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home Friday, April 1, from 11:30 a.m. until time of service.
