Claude Wesley "CW" Brannon, age 66, of Cumming died July 5, 2008. Mr. Brannon was a retired lieutenant from the Alpharetta Police Department after a 30-year law enforcement career. He was a member of Greater Heights Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Sandra Brannon of Cumming; daughters, Gloria Mason, Penny Brannon, both of Cumming; Windy Jenkins of Alpharetta; sons and daughters-in-law, Ricky and June Brannon of Holly Springs, Danny and Cherie Brannon of Merrillville, Ind.; sisters, Pat Hudgins of Dallas, Gail Dobbs of Canton; brother, Steve Brannon of Ball Ground; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 8, at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Revs. Chris Grinstead, Danny Brannon, Ray Gober and Glenn Brannon officiating. Interment will follow in Green Lawn Cemetery.
