Claudia Ann Neubert, age 59, of Cumming passed away June 11, 2011, at her home with her family at her side. Born in St. Louis, Mo., she had lived in Whitehall, Penn., Bedford, Ohio, and Westerville, Ohio, before moving to Georgia nine years ago. She attended Ohio University in Athens, Ohio, before receiving her accounting degree from Otterbein College in Westerville, Ohio. Claudia was a member of Three Chimneys Farm Empty Nester's Club and the Forsyth County Ladies League. She was a devout member of several United Methodist churches in Ohio and Georgia. She was preceded in death by her mother, Jane Mitchel.
She is survived by her father, Robert Mitchel; husband, James Neubert; daughter, son-in-law, and grandson, Angela, Brian and Samuel Wilson; daughter, son-in-law, and grandson, Erika, Timothy and Griffin Simon; sisters, Karen Haddad (David) and Barb Caccesse (Mike); brother, Stan Mitchel.
A Visitation of Remembrance will be held Thursday, June 16, from 10 a.m. to noon and 4-8 p.m. at McDonald and Son Funeral Home. A Service of Remembrance will be held Friday, June 17, at 11 a.m. at Cumming First United Methodist Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in memory of Claudia to the .
