Curtis Teleado Richards, age 78, of Alpharetta died July 14, 2008. Mr. Richards, a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, was a born July 27, 1929. He was the son of Samuel and Mary Richards. He loved bird hunting, fishing, and playing with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Priscilla Whitmire Richards of Cumming; son and daughter-in-law, Lamar and Marie Richards of Ballground; daughter and son-in-law, Martha and Ricky Stowe of Cumming; grandchildren, Tobey and Jay Kile, Clint and Amy Richards, Eric and Kristin Richards, Sarah Richards; great-grandchildren, Cameron Kile, Cody Richards, and Tiffany Kile; brothers, Rev. Melvin and Geraldine Richards, Alton and Bobbie Richards, Randall and Lunette Richards; sister-in-law, Avis and Elip Spence of Alpharetta. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Thursday, July 17, at the McDonald and Son Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dan Henderson, Rev. Pete Martin, and Rev. Michael Cantrell officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.
