Mr. David Gene Davison, age 45, of Cumming passed away Friday, Jan. 2, 2009. He was a member of the Light Ministries in Athens. Mr. Davison attended Central Gwinnett High School and received his degree from Athens Technical College. He was employed for five years with General Motors and 10 years with Ciba Vision.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Trott of England, and Mr. and Mrs. Wilburn Davison of Carnesville.
Survivors include his mother, Joyce Davison of Cumming; father, Howell Davison of Royston; sisters and brothers-in-law, Caren Camp of Gainesville, Sandra and Tony Heard of Cumming, Greta and Allen Clay of Gainesville; brother, Matthew Davison of Cumming; eight nieces, one nephew, and several other relatives also survive.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, Jan. 4, at 3 p.m. in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Lloyd Craft officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday, Jan. 3, from 6-9 p.m. and Sunday, Jan. 4, from 1 p.m. until the hour of service.
