Delores Theresa Maloney, "Teri" went to be with our father in heaven on November 30th 2017 in Cumming, GA.
Born March 12th 1932 in Brooklyn, NY Teri is survived her adoring family, Donald Maloney, sons Joe (Denise) Maloney, Tim (Debbie) Maloney, Kevin Maloney, daughters Kathy ( Jim) Head, Kelly ( Lewis) Ettorre, 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, sisters Francis Gorham, Mindy Roth and niece Kathy (Joe) Computaro.
Teri met the love of her life on a blind date in 1950. Don & Teri married on St. Patrick's Day 1952 in New Castle, Delaware. Married for 66 years, they traveled the world in military service with the Air Force with their 5 children before settling in Cumming, GA with their youngest daughter Kelly and husband Lewis Ettorre.
Teri will forever be remembered by the many people's lives she touched and how special she made them feel. Teri was a woman of rare character, kind heart, strength, goodness and the love she emanated, made her beloved by all who knew her. Her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were the lights of her life and she was the light of theirs too.
Along with her family, Teri will be surrounded by the many friends she had in life on December 8th 2017 at McDonald and Sons Funeral Home 150 Sawnee Drive Cumming, GA 30040. The viewing will be at 9:15am, funeral service at 10:15am and burial to follow at the Georgia National Cemetery located at 1080 Scott Hudgens Drive Canton, GA 30114.
