Douglas Arnold Bryan, 77, a 30-year resident of Cumming, passed away on May 20, 2009. A graduate of Georgia State University, Mr. Bryan served as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Army, and retired from management with Bell South in Atlanta.
He is survived by his sister, Jean Barnett, of Canton; nieces, nephews, and cousins; and by his beloved golden retriever, Buckley.
The family will host a memorial reception at Tam's Restaurant in Cumming on June 6, from 2-4 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the animal rescue, OurPalsPlace.org.
