Earlie Clinton Fields, age 87, of Cumming passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2013. Earlie was a 50-year Mason and member of LaFayette Lodge #44 F&AM. He served his country during World War II in the United States Army. More recently, he was a member and deacon at Corinth Baptist Church.
Earlie was preceded in death by his wife, Audrey Bennett Fields.
He is survived by his children, Randall (Sherry Roper) Fields of Cumming; Amos (Cathy Bennett) Fields of Cumming; Nancy (James) Jett of Viola, Tenn.; sister, Dora Mae Mooney; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and other loving relatives and friends also survive.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 23, at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ricky Byrd and the Rev. Rudy Tribble officiating. Interment will follow at Haw Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, May 22, from 2–4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. and Thursday, May 23, from 10 a.m. until the hour of service.
