Eunice Alger, 72, of Cumming passed away at her home on Feb. 21, 2009. A native of South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Pearl Rogers.

Eunice lived in Brooklyn, N.Y., for many years and she worked for Georgia Baptist Hospital for 33 years. She courageously battled cancer for 19 years.
She will be greatly missed by her children, William Alger of Morrow, Debra O'Bryant of Cumming, Robert Alger of Suwanee, Thomas Alger of Buford, and Patricia Kester of Cumming; sister, Frances Edde of Ball Ground; brother, James Rogers of Ball Ground; companion in life, Charles King of Atlanta; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 25, at Good Shepherd Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, Feb. 24, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
