Eva Cochran Harris, 92, a native Atlantan passed away on Friday, Sept. 12, 2014, at Tranquility at Cobb Hospital. "Nanny" was a
beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother.
She was born in Atlanta and graduated from West Fulton High School. Eva was a descendant of the Seagraves family who have been natives of Atlanta for over 150 years. She was married to the late Fort Marshall (F.M.) Harris, where they lived in Mableton and Douglas County for over 50 years.
Preceded in death by her husband F.M. Harris, she is survived by daughter, Phyllis Ann Dillard of Douglasville; son, Joel (Joe)
Harris of Cumming; grandsons, Dunie Dillard of Douglasville and Robert Harris of Cumming; granddaughters, Debbie Dillard of
Douglasville and Bonnie Harris of Cumming; great-grandsons, Chris Rogers, Kyle Rogers, and Bailey Dillard of Douglasville; great-granddaughter, Breana Dillard of Jacksonville, Ala.; and great-great-grandsons, Evan Rogers and Hayden Rogers of Douglasville.Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 13, at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville.
Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 14, at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in
